Emergency Response and Disaster Backup Services
- Contact the U.S. Coast Guard
- In the event your shore office loses power, telephone, PC connection or must be evacuated, Boatracs will act as your dispatch office
- Relay your messages to your vessels via telephone, fax or email
- Respond to a vessel's panic button, customer care immediately acts on your predetermined emergency procedure kept on file
- Provide position histories and detailed maps
Critical communications services available through different solutions:
- Message Relay: Two-way voice messaging throughout the U.S. and Canada via a Boatracs customer care operator; Users may also call 1-800-262-8722 to dictate messages that will be transmitted to an operator and sent via satellite
- Fax: Send/Receive faxes from any number throughout the U.S. or Canada
- Email: Boatracs assigns each vessel a unique email address (i.e. anyboat@boatracs.com) enabling worldwide email exchange on vessels
- Boat-to-Boat: Boats equipped with Boatracs' satellite system are able to send/receive private communications with other boats, instead of broadcasting conversations over single side band or VHF radio.
- Whereismyboat.com: Enables internet users the ability to view where each boat in a fleet is, the ability to communicate with each boat individually
or together with one email message.

Software Upgrades and Training
A Boatracs technician will visist your office or boat to upgrade or install new software, hardware and terminal equipment. We also provide training for office staff or crew on upgrades and new installations. Optional Boatracs Services
- Panic Button: Immediate contact is made with our customer care center and the protocol that you detailed will be followed in cases of emergencies when the button is pressed.
- Weather: Receive detailed weather information based on your vessel position. We work with a number of weather information providers and can tailor the data for you, either in regular broadcasts or on-demand.
- Optional Subscription Services: Boatracs customers can customize data reports with additional data subscriptions. Service is available through broadcast on a regular basis or on-demand. Services include: News and sports, Stock prices, Fish prices
